Stu's Company Now - Magic Rock Brewing
They say 3 is the magic number, so we’re packing the van full of beer and raffle prizes and heading back to the East Coast of Yorkshire for tap takeover at the mighty North Riding Brew Pub (AKA Rich our designers not to local, local) celebrating our third collaboration brew with North Riding Brewery, the sea, and community.
Lasts years event was a rad success, so we thought ‘why not do it again?’ – Who doesn’t love a trip to the seaside? On Friday 13th March from 6 pm, we’ll be launching the third version of Stu’s Company Now, a golden ale, dry-hopped with Chinook, Citra, Mosaic & Cascade; in addition to two further collaborations with North Riding Brewery, ‘American brown’ (an appropriately named American Brown ale) and ‘Scarborough Strongman’ (a barley wine) – don’t say we don’t know how to treat you!
The North Riding Launch event isn’t just about beer, oh no! We’ll be supporting the vital work that Surfers Against Sewage do to keep our oceans free of rubbish, ’cause let’s face it, no one likes to see poo or plastic floating in the sea! Joining us to raise a little cash (and enjoy a beer or two!) we’ve roped in the support from businesses who align with our mission. Yonder – a company championing positive move towards celebrating real women in surfing, to pass on their confidence, and to build a community of women looking to learn or improve their surfing skills; and Visionary Custom Surfboards, crafting surfboards with meticulous attention to detail in the North East of England since 2009, shaper Glenn Nary focusses on the quality of each surfboard rather than the quantity produced; in addition to Fluid Concept, a Scarborough surf institution, champions of surfing on the East Coast and advocates for Surfers Against Sewage. We’re thrilled to bring together these companies, and can’t wait to enjoy a beer with all involved!
Fear not if you can’t make it to the Scarborough event, Stuart from North Riding will be taking over Magic Rock Tap Holmfirth on Saturday 21st March, with a host of North Riding Brewery cask beers, being served alongside the collaboration.
At both events, we’ll be donating a cask of beer, have a load of merch, and both Yonder and Visionary will kindly be donating vouchers. There’ll be Magic Rock Merch, and bits from Fluid Concept & Surfers Against Sewage up for grabs in the raffle, proceeds which will be given to Surfers Against Sewage.
