We’re heading north of the border again in a few weeks, this time to Scotland’s largest city and the craft beer destination that is BrewDog Glasgow. On Thursday 15th March we’ll be taking over as many taps as we can at BrewDog’s third bar which opened last year.
BrewDog have been an inspiring influence on Magic Rock and have been really supportive of our new brewery and what we’re trying to achieve; their beers, passion and enthusiasm have been a breath of fresh air to the UK beer scene over the last 5 years and we’re delighted to be one of the first UK breweries invited to do an event at one of the bars.
Expect to see our regular keg beers High Wire, Dark Arts and Cannonball, alongside our Black IPA ‘Magic 8 Ball’, and new kegs of our Double IPA ‘Human Cannonball’. There’ll also be some first ever kegs of our Red Hop Ale ‘Rapture’ and we’ll be bringing the last keg we have of our 10.5% Imperial Stout ‘Bearded Lady’.
As we haven’t made 16 different beers yet it won’t be a ‘total’ tap takeover but as its a BrewDog bar you can expect that the rest of the taps on the night will be showcasing some of their own excellent beers as well as the great and good of the world craft beer scene.
We’re really looking forward to what should be an awesome night, come down to get a taste of the Magic say hello and bag a free T-shirt/poster. We don’t normally need an excuse to visit the BrewDog bars and drink great beer, but seeing as we’ve now got a good one, we’ll hopefully see you on the 15th…
